Do I need to make an appointment in advance?

All appointments will need to be pre-booked. You can make an appointment via my contact page or call 07802699710.

 

What should I wear?

Please wear something you are comfortable in such as gym wear.

 

Does it hurt?

You may experience some mild discomfort during or after the treatment. I will discuss with you what to expect and will work within your comfort levels by asking for your feedback. Some patients report a mild aching or stiffness following treatment for 24-48 hours, but this is a normal healthy response to changes that occur following treatment.

 

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments you need depends on your condition. I aim to keep them to a minimum and this can normally be achieved if you follow the after care advice. If I feel that Osteopathy is not benefiting you, I may refer you to your GP for further medical investigation.

Do I need to be referred by my GP?

No, you do not need to be referred by your doctor, most patients tend to self refer.
